Martin Michalik

Martin joined Stantons in 2008 and brings more than 27 years of external audit experience across Australia, the Pacific, Europe, and Bermuda. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Company Auditor. He specialises in audit of ASX‑listed entities, government sector audits, and aid‑funded programs, and has led major public sector audit and budget support engagements across the Pacific region.

Martin has extensive experience working with international development programs and is highly familiar with the financial management systems and operational environments commonly encountered in Pacific jurisdictions. He has audited organisations across a broad range of industries, including resources, telecommunications, real estate, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. He has served as signing director for numerous ASX‑listed companies and has prepared independent expert reports and investigative accountant reports. His background also includes auditing multinational organisations and contributing to quality and risk management reviews in multiple regions.
